In line with continuing international expansion, Pas Reform has appointed Mr. Hilarío Ruiz, founder of the specialist veterinary technology company Tecnovet, as its distributor and representative in Bolivia.
Hilario brings more than two decades of poultry-sector experience to his new role. He is a qualified veterinarian, who specializes in the distribution of advanced poultry and swine equipment and products. Hilario moved from Peru to Bolivia in 2003 to establish the distribution of Merial products in the country. In 2011 he started his own company, Tecnovet – which is based in the country’s main city for the poultry industry, Santa Cruz de la Sierra in the tropical area of Bolivia.
Hilarío says he is very optimistic about Pas Reform’s future in Bolivia. He comments: “I look forward to presenting Pas Reform’s integrated hatchery solutions to my prospects and customers. Combined with the support of dedicated service and hatchery management training programmes from Pas Reform Academy, Pas Reform offers an excellent platform for significant growth here.”
In recent years, Bolivia has experienced rapid economic development, and most of the population now has access to good quality protein. This has already boosted the country’s poultry industry development and Pas Reform is playing a major part in this growth. In 2013 it supplied Bolivia’s most advanced hatchery – a complete, modular, single stage incubation project for Avicola Sofia, the country’s largest poultry producer, based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
