Petersime has purchased 22,000 square meters of additional land in a newly developed industrial area next to its current office and production facilities in Olsene, Belgium.
Construction is slated to start in October this year and the new facilities are expected to be fully operational by mid-2011.
The expansion will include a production hall of over 4,000 m2, two dedicated logistic zones for loading incubators and specialized hatchery equipment, and energy-saving roof-mounted photovoltaic solar panels.
