Janssen named Chore-Time Europe sales director

Paul Janssen has been named Sales Director for Chore-Time Europe, announced Jeff Miller, Vice President and General Manager for CTB, Inc.'s Chore-Time Group business unit.

Paul Janssen has been named Sales Director for Chore-Time Europe, announced Jeff Miller, Vice President and General Manager for CTB, Inc.’s Chore-Time Group business unit. In his new position, Janssen will be responsible for overseeing Chore-Time and Volito product sales and service throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, working through existing regional sales managers and the company’s independent distributor network. He will also be leading the continued integration of Volito into Chore-Time.

Janssen has been associated with Chore-Time in various roles since 2000 when he joined a Chore-Time distributor, Veldmaster B.V., as an internal sales representative. After CTB acquired Veldmaster in 2002 to establish Chore-Time Europe in the Netherlands, Janssen was named Customer Service Manager for the new business. He subsequently served as Project Manager and then Regional Sales Manager for Chore-Time Europe before being named Sales Director for Chore-Time’s newest acquisition, Volito, also located in the Netherlands. He has over 25 years of poultry experience, having worked in his family’s turkey business before starting at Chore-Time.

Janssen earned a degree in secondary education, specializing in poultry, from IPC Dier in Horst, the Netherlands, and a bachelor’s degree in logistical management from EVO Hogeschool in Utrecht, also in the Netherlands. He has done post-graduate work in demand and supply chain management, project and change management, and operations and customer service management.

Fluent in Dutch, German and English, Janssen is a native of Stramproy, the Netherlands, where he currently resides.
