USDA invites public comment on antimicrobial resistance

A public meeting has been scheduled for September 24.

USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Food and Drug Administration will hold a public meeting on Thursday, September 24, to provide information and receive comments on agenda items and draft U.S. positions that will be discussed at the 3rd Session of the Codex Ad Hoc Intergovernmental Task Force on antimicrobial resistance to be held in Jeju, Republic of Korea, October 12-16.

The meeting will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m., at the Jamie L. Whitten Federal Building, Washington, DC. Attendees will be required to present photo identification at the door.
