Giordano Veronesi elected honorary member of FEFAC

The citation recognized his involvement in FEFAC activities over three decades.

Giordano Veronesi, president of Italian feed group Veronesi, has been elected an honorary member of European Feed Manufacturers' Federation (FEFAC) during an event organized to mark the federation's 50th anniversary.

The citation recognizes his involvement in FEFAC activities over three decades. Since 2004, he has been its vice president and a member of its presidium. He chaired the committee on Economic and Environmental Affairs from 1996 until 2007. Veronesi was president of Italy's Assalzoo association between 1989 and 2001, subsequently becoming honorary president. He also held, from 1995 to 1999, the position of vice president of the Federalimentare in Confindustria food federation.

He becomes the sixth person, after Prof. Marcel Vanbelle, Hubert Marek, Carl Brenninkmeyer, André Namur and Franz Josef Juchem, to be awaarded with the honorary membership.
