Cobb-Vantress talks technology at IPPE 2019

At the recent 2019 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) held in Atlanta, Cobb-Vantress experts discussed the company’s commitment to serving as a leader in technology and continuing investment in driving the poultry industry forward.

Over the course of the three-day event, Cobb leadership shared how the company’s investment in product innovation, research and technology provides value to its customers and how Cobb continues to invest in expanding its global pedigree research facilities to accelerate progress in genetics and technology. By increasing the capacity of its research facilities — such as in the Netherlands — the company can deliver even more genetic progress while strengthening the supply chain to Europe, Middle East, Africa and beyond.

“Our commitment to and investment in research and technology has made Cobb the company it is today,” said Aldo Rossi, vice president of research and development at Cobb-Vantress. “I’m confident this focus will keep Cobb producing the highest-quality products for years to come.”

Event attendees were able to stop by the Cobb booth to get in-person technical support and take copies of the company’s newly enhanced management guides and supplements. Cobb’s highly specialized technical support teams helped educate guests on updated best practices to achieve top-performing flocks and maximize the genetic potential of their birds.

IPPE is the world’s largest annual display of technology, equipment, supplies and services used in the production and processing of eggs, meat and poultry, and for those involved in feed manufacturing. Nearly 33,000 people from all segments of the industry attended the 2019 event.
