Sadia has a new president

Julio Cardoso replaces Gilberto Tomazoni, as more changes rock this Brazilian poultry and pork giant

Gilberto Tomazoni leaves the presidency of Sadia, after four years in the position. Julio Cardoso, former president of companies like Bunge Alimentos and Seara, was chosen for this position.

Since last July, Cardoso has been chairman of Sadia's Board of Directors, when Luiz Furlan assumed the co-chairmanship of the Board of Directors of Brasil Foods, together with Nildemar Secches.

This is the third and most important dismissal on the Board of Directors of the company this year. Gilberto Xandó, Sadia's foreign markets commercial director, was the first leaving the company in January. In June, Eduardo Noronha left the company's HR head office to assume the COO position at Contax.
