OSI was honored by Whole Foods Market with an award for Outstanding Innovation at the company’s annual Supplier Awards ceremony in Austin, Texas. The annual awards recognize suppliers that embody Whole Foods Market’s mission and values through a proven commitment to quality, environmental stewardship, organic integrity, innovation, and partnership.
“We are honored to receive this award from Whole Foods,” said Kevin Scott, senior executive vice president, OSI North America. “To be recognized as an innovative company that is able to react quickly to customer needs really speaks to what OSI is all about.”
Whole Foods Market cited OSI’s constant production of innovative meat offerings with new flavor profiles and exceptional quality as a basis for this best-in-class award, adding that OSI is impressively nimble with a proven ability to react quickly to increased, last minute demand, according to the WFM press release.
OSI was one of 28 suppliers recognized this year. The honorees were selected by Whole Foods Market category experts and buyers who work closely with suppliers on a daily basis.
