Liechtenstein native presents Abit Massey Lecture

Claudia Fritsche is an ambassador in Washington, D.C.

Claudia Fritsche recently presented the 2009 Abit Massey Lecture, created in 1978 to honor Massey for his leadership in association management, including service as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Association Executives in 1977-78.

From Liechtenstein, Fritsche is its first Resident Ambassador in Washington, D.C.  Previously she was Liechtenstein’s first Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, where she served as vice president of the UN General Assembly and as President of the International Association of Permanent Representatives to the United Nations.

The Ambassador received the Lecture Medal and an honorarium that she donated to the Susan G. Komen Cure for Cancer.
