Eight top-performing Cobb-Vantress customers across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) were recently named champions based on their outstanding performance during 2018. The new Cobb Champion Award winners were selected from all corners of the region — from Holland to Zambia — and were measured in three categories: European production efficiency factors (EPEF) for broilers, production in chicks and hatchability in eggs.
“Our customers achieve high levels of success with broilers, breeders and eggs, which ultimately translates into the success for their business and satisfied customers down the value chain,” said Nigel Strain, EMEA senior technical manager for Cobb Europe. “Cobb is committed to leading the way for more efficient, healthy and affordable protein in the region and around the world. Our customers are right there, working alongside us as partners, looking to achieve those same goals and levels of excellence.”
Cobb introduced the Cobb Champion Awards in 2015 to recognize top-performing companies in the EMEA region that maximize the performance of Cobb breeding stock. The Cobb EMEA Technical Services team conducts performance data each year to identify two to three best-performing flocks within the region based on category measurements.
“Our customers have truly set the bar high with these results,” said Strain. “By partnering with Cobb in genetics and technical expertise, this group of high achievers is helping to inspire the future of poultry production in the region and around the globe.”
