Kurt Shultz is now the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) regional director in the newly established Latin America office. Shultz began with the Council in 1999 as the manager of international operations for Rest of the World.

The regional office’s location is slated for Panama City, Panama, and will be staffed with a director and two support staff. The office will be responsible for supervising the Council’s regional programs in South America, Central America and the Caribbean. Initially, key program countries include Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras and Panama.
