NF Protein announces new VP of Global Business Development

Eric Lohry, President of NF Protein LLC, is proud to announce the addition of Ray Abner as the new Vice President (VP) of Global Business Development.

Eric Lohry, President of NF Protein LLC, is proud to announce the addition of Ray Abner as the new Vice President (VP) of Global Business Development. The company is part of a family of six Sioux City, Iowa-based companies serving the animal health and nutrition industry.

"We are thrilled to bring Ray on as a valuable team member as we continue to scale our operations across the world,” Lohry said. “His more than three decades of expertise in business development and client relationship management – both domestically and abroad – will serve our team and our company extremely well as we continue to fortify our global brand.”

Abner has a long history working with some of the most recognized animal nutrition and health product suppliers around the world; he has worked with a wide range of products including minerals, vitamins, vaccines, nutritional and pharmaceutical feed additives. Previous professional roles held by Abner include sales management positions, and national account and global account management. He built and supervised sales and technical services teams while reducing expenses and increasing earnings through P and L management and oversight.

Abner’s role will include supporting existing sales and distribution and demonstrating the efficacy of NF Protein products and programs to new customers, while developing additional avenues to expand the global business. In addition to his years working in the industry, he holds BS and MS degrees in Animal Science, Nutrition.
