Braswell Family Farms, one of the foremost producers of premium and specialty eggs and feed on the East Coast, celebrated their annual Family Day on Saturday, October 19, 2019. The fourth-generation, family-owned farm held the company-wide event Saturday at Hill Ridge Farms where local hurricane relief organizations were presented with donations.

“Braswell Family Farms is a gift from the Lord, it’s His business, that we have the great responsibility to be good stewards of,” said Trey Braswell, President of Braswell Family Farms. “We are humbled to have the opportunity to use the excess from His business to share with organizations that are doing meaningful work to get families back in their homes in Eastern North Carolina in the wake of devastating storms. It’s because of God’s blessing and the hard work of each and every teammate at Braswell Family Farms that we have resources to give.  We are so grateful for our folks and their dedication.”

Braswell Family Farms is one of the leading employers in Nash County and credits the dedication of their employees for the success of the company. As a part of their mission, Braswell Family Farms is honored to be able to serve the Eastern North Carolina community through gifts to organizations focused on recovery from recent hurricanes that impacted the area. Checks were presented to Baptist Men Disaster Relief, One Harbor Church Disaster Relief, United Methodist Church, Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity and Wilmington Area Rebuild Ministry (WARM) to continue the important work of rebuilding.
