As part of its continuing expansion into the retail market, Wayne Farms LLC launched a new website.

The Oakwood, Georgia, poultry integrator debuted the updated version of its website as part of the 2020 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE). The new site is designed to be a resource for consumers, customers and potential employees.

The website utilizes more than 200 unique pages to convey information about the company, its growers and how it processes chicken. It uses videos and images to share information about the company and will feature continually updated content written by Wayne Farms employees. The company enlisted an outside firm – Vantagepoint – to help create the website.

Frank Singleton, a spokesman for Wayne Farms, said the company invested significant time and resources in developing the site. It is committed to maintaining the site, too.

Singleton said the new site was created to keep the company modern and relevant to its customers. Wayne Farms, the seventh-largest integrator in the U.S. according to WATT Global Media’s Top Broiler Company rankings, historically focused on the foodservice and retail markets. However, the company recently started marketing products directly to shoppers in grocery stores.

The integrator also hopes the site will help educate and attract potential new employees at every level of the operation. Its updated careers section features detailed information about working at the company.
