Feed manufacturing is a crucial facet of poultry and egg production and processing. As feed mill management becomes more complex from year to year, new challenges arise, and costs continue to increase. USPOULTRY’s 2020 Feed Mill Management Seminar will provide attendees with practical ways to improve production efficiency at the feed mill, while showcasing new feed production technology. The seminar will be held March 18-19 at the Doubletree Hotel Downtown in Nashville, Tennessee.
“As always, the program planning committee has provided this year’s attendees with a variety of interesting topics,” remarked Larry Hooper, senior feed mill manager for Cobb-Vantress, and program committee chairman. “The combined expertise of mill managers and poultry nutrition professionals allows this program to consistently offer an incredible educational opportunity for everyone in attendance.”
Program topics will include a Regulatory Update (FSMA and Inspection Results); Feed Mill Biosecurity; Grinding Equipment Innovations and Maintenance; Safety: Ladders; Antibiotics in an ABF Broiler Mill; New Innovations; Virtual Reality Feed Mill Safety Training; Dust Control; Cooling; Pelleting Steam Systems; and New Mill Start-Up.
