Kazakhstan's poultry industry performed well in the first nine months of this year, with the number of poultry farms rising by 6.6% year-on-year to 36.25 million by the start of October, according to the country's State Statistics Agency.
This good performance was also reflected in most other areas of Kazakhstan's livestock industry, with increases in numbers of most types of livestock.
The Kazakh government is making determined efforts to increase livestock production and raise the income and living standards of livestock producers.
