More than 21,700 birds die at Iraqi farm

After an absence of 14 months, highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) has returned to Iraq.

The H5N8 virus subtype was identified after more than 21,700 poultry died at a farm in the north of the country earlier this month, according to the agriculture ministry. It reported to the World Organisation
