A new indictment against poultry executives will elevate scrutiny of the industry, according to a market observer.

In a WATT Poultry Chat interview, Mark Jordan, executive director of LEAP Market Analytics, shared his reaction to the suit, announced on June 3, 2020, and his thoughts on how it will affect other integrators and the animal protein industry.

Jordan said this indictment, paired with high pressure applied by the COVID-19 pandemic, means the industry will need to move ahead carefully.
