According to reports, Turkmenistan recently opened its first full-cycle poultry complex in Akhal province. The private farm, which employs 180 people, is expected to produce 3,000 tons of poultry meat and 4 million eggs per year.
The facility, which includes an industrial incubator, feed mill and a protein factory, claims to be virtually waste free.
In 2007, the government decreed its support of this agro-industrial project.
