Wayne Farms LLC will begin selling CHEF’s CRAFT Gourmet Chicken in Walmart stores across the U.S. in September. Previously, the brand was only available in foodservice outlets.

“This product is a great fit for the Walmart shopper. Chef’s Craft is a unique and quality product at a great price that is easy to prepare for a family’s needs,” said Megan Ernst, senior marketing manager of Wayne Farms LLC.

“With Chef’s Craft, we start with all-natural chicken and add only what’s good – and not what isn’t. The products are skillfully prepared by our chefs and designed so that consumers can make memorable meals in just a few minutes.”

The Chef’s Craft product line features minimally processed, gluten-free, preservative-free and all-natural gourmet chicken that contains no nitrates, MSG or artificial ingredients.

“We’ve learned through research that consumers look for and, in most cases, expect premium refrigerated and frozen products to be all-natural. That’s why all our products in the Chef’s Craft label carry that claim,” Ernst added.

“An all-natural claim means minimally processed, no artificial ingredients. We try to be open and clear about that by putting it on our product label.”

The line, sold in 12-ounce resealable bags, is made up of the Flame Grilled Breast Fillet, Gluten Free Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks and Grilled Chicken Breast Chunks.

All three options are designed to be easily prepared on a stovetop or in the microwave or a conventional oven, perfect for creating a healthy family meal.

“Chef’s Craft was built on the idea of ‘dine-in is the new takeout.’ We focused on helping consumers craft their own restaurant quality dining experience at home. This is because we saw that there are certain consumers that want to cook at home and prepare restaurant-style meals in a really convenient way,” Ernst said.
