There will be a repeat of the "Lange Nacht der Forschung" (Long Night of Research) on Nov. 7, 2009, in Austria. Food and Agribusiness diagnostics company, Romer Labs, will participate at its headquarters in Tulln.

The company will host two stations, one geared toward kits, explaining how chromatography works, and the other will introduce visitors to technologies used in food analysis.

In this nationwide event, universities, technical colleges, research organizations and companies open their doors from sunset to midnight to present their activities. Last year, more then 240,000 people visited 375 stations in six regions across the country. The Long Night of Research is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Science and Research, the Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth and the Austrian Council for Research and Technology Development.
