The 2020 Egg Industry Top Egg Company Survey showed only one ranking change from the previous year for the top 10 egg producing companies. In this year’s report, MPS Egg Farms (formerly listed as Midwest Poultry Services) and Center Fresh Group swapped spots on the list, now at the 8th and 9th spots, respectively.
The companies are ranked by layer flock size in million hens at the end of calendar year 2019. The next set of rankings will be published in Egg Industry in early 2021 and may show a very different picture than the previous year, given the ongoing challenges of COVID-19.
