Ander Christensen became a viral sensation after his recent testimony to the city council in Lincoln, Nebraska, to speak out against the phrase “boneless wings,” often used to describe boneless chicken products that are not actually wings.

As an alternative name, Christensen suggests possibilities such as "saucy nugs."

Christensen, who describes himself as a big fan of the poultry industry and the greater agriculture industry, said the public’s feedback to his message has been overwhelmingly positive.

In a WATT Poultry Chat video, Christensen tells of the history of his strong feelings about the “boneless wings” message. He also says he hopes the industry can use this new attention to have fun and leave a positive impression that can lead to its overall success.
