EuroTier and EnergyDecentral 2021 will be held digitally February 9-12.

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, EuroTier will not be held in-person in Hanover, Germany, this year. The virtual event will offer exhibitors a broad range of flexibility and digital packages, while visitors will experience an extensive technical program and networking opportunities.

“Our digital trade fairs are both international business platforms and expert networks for the current issues of the animal production and energy sectors,” said Reinhard Grandke, CEO of DLG, the German Agricultural Society, which organizes the events.

With digital company profiles and live events including chat and meeting functions, EuroTier 2021 will offer a variety of communication and interaction opportunities for exhibitors and visitors.

The digital technical program with DLG Spotlights on the key trade fair topics of dairy, pig, poultry, energy, emission control and direct farm sales, as well as live discussions from the DLG Studio provide the perfect setting for planning investments.

“For the DLG, it’s important to make the entry into the digital world of EuroTier and EnergyDecentral as easy as possible,” said Karl Schlösser, project manager of EuroTier. “Therefore, we’ve put together three different exhibition packages for our exhibitors that can be used individually and expanded flexibly. Participation in the technical program and additional advertising options complete the range of services, which is equally attractive for national and international exhibitors. We offer maximum reach and flexibility for addressing visitors as well as transparent and secure investment planning.”

After a one-time online registration, visitors can obtain information on the products and services of the exhibitors, contact them directly and actively participate in numerous events and discussions of the technical program.

“We therefore offer visitors a simple way to specifically contact the appropriate contacts within the exhibiting company and to plan investments with them,” Schlösser said.

‘Farming in the Food Chain’

Whether it is animal welfare and emission reduction, husbandry and feeding, management and controlling or simply questions of marketing, under the guiding theme of “Farming in the Food Chain,” visitors to the digital platform of EuroTier can expect a wide range of in-depth information services in which current issues are addressed and solution approaches are presented.

Consumers increasingly want to know where the food they consume comes from. In order to meet this requirement, transparency and traceability in the value-added chain are becoming even more important. This also enables feed manufacturers and livestock farmers to provide evidence that their operations and processes are in perfect order.

“Farming in the Food Chain,” the guiding theme of EuroTier, classifies livestock farming – like agriculture as a whole – as an important link and responsible partner in the value-added chain for food. EuroTier digital will show how transparency and traceability are realized in agriculture and how they can be integrated in digital solutions for the entire value-added chain.
