Pfizer trainee award winners announced

Georgina Cherrill and Andrew Hall take pig, poultry categories

Georgina Cherrill and Andrew Hall, employees of pig and poultry farms in North Lincolnshire, England, are the 2009 winners of the Pfizer Trainee of the Year Awards.

Jim Fitzpatrick, minister for farming and the environment, presented the awards at a ceremony at the House of Commons, November 5, 2009. Each award is worth more than £2,500.

Pfizer Animal Health introduced the awards three years ago to recognize the importance of training.
