Neil Forknall appointed Potters Poultry director

Neil Forknall appointed Potters Poultry sales and marketing director.

Neil Forknall has been appointed the new Sales and Marketing director at Potters Poultry, the UK’s leading supplier of pullets and poultry equipment in new structural revamp.

Neil joins from his previous position as sales and marketing director at ÅLÖ with more than 20 years’ sales experience and in-depth knowledge of the agriculture sector.

As Sales and Marketing Director, Neil will have overall responsibility for the delivery of the organisation’s strategic aims across the company, through implementing and managing sales activities, identifying new market opportunities and defining the actions required to bring a new dynamic to Potters’ business and drive growth.

Olivia Potter, Director at Potters Poultry, said: “I am delighted to announce that Neil is taking up this new and exciting role with Potters. His in-depth expertise of the agriculture sector built up over many years will prove invaluable as we put into place our new operational and marketing strategy to continue to grow in the UK and European markets.

“Following the successful launch of our LowMax Aviary at the end of last year, we are looking forward to further growth and feel our recent additions will play a key role in driving us towards this goal.”

Neil said: “I am looking forward immensely to joining Potters Poultry and the new challenges that this role entails.

"This is a pivotal time for the poultry industry with challenges coming from COVID-19, Brexit, and avian influenza.

“I am eager to ensure Potters works closely with its customers to improve industry standards by investing in our staff and partners to facilitate this.”

Neil’s appointment represents a second recent hire for Potters Poultry with Iain Campbell joining the Pullet and Equipment Sales team. Both Neil and Iain join the team during an exciting time, as Potters Poultry looks to expand their operations.
