Processing plant to create 160 jobs

Reports say plans are underway for a new chicken processing plant in Charles City, Iowa.

A group of poultry farmers want to transform a former All-States Quality Foods building into a plant that would bring 160 jobs to the area. The city has approved the project.

Those involved hope for an opening in spring 2010.
