Resurgence of avian flu in poultry in Taiwan, Ghana, South Africa
In Taiwan, Ghana and South Africa, new outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) have been reported among the nations’ respective poultry flocks. In China, five new human cases of avian influenza have been reported.
Last month, a further outbreak of HPAI linked to the H5N5 virus variant occurred in Taiwan.
