Seaboard Triumph Foods (STF) is welcoming Frank Koekkoek Jr. as the new vice president and general manager to lead STF.
He holds over 21 years of experience in leadership, operations, food safety, business development, and improvement in the animal protein industry. Koekkoek is a detail-oriented, high-energy, and driven leader.
In his recent positions, he served as the director of operations for Perdue Farms in Lewiston, North Carolina, and as the complex manager for Butterball in Raeford, North Carolina.
“We will continue to enhance our core values of safety, people first, and food safety. At STF, our foundation must be built on people first as we continue to focus our efforts on making STF the company of choice,” said Koekkoek.
His passion for the animal protein industry started young as his father, Frank Koekkoek Sr., worked in the industry for 54 years, retiring as the vice president of operations at Michigan Turkey Procedures (MTP).
Koekkoek is relocating to Sioux City with his wife, and five children, Carleigh, Kamdyn, Kyndall, Kailyn and Konner. In his free time he enjoys football, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
