Braswell Family Farms announces fifth annual Victory Ride to Cure Cancer

Braswell Family Farms to sponsor the fifth annual Victory Ride to Cure Cancer.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research, alongside presenting sponsor, Braswell Family Farms, is excited to announce the fifth annual Victory Ride to Cure Cancer will take place on May 21, 2022. Since its inception, the Victory Ride has raised over $1 million for cancer research, making it the largest active Triangle-based ride funding cancer research. This year’s event marks Braswell’s fourth year as presenting sponsor for the ride, hosting training rides, promotional events and making an egg-celent breakfast for riders on ride day.

“Braswell Family Farms is excited and thankful to have the opportunity to partner with the V Foundation again as the presenting sponsor of the 2022 Victory Ride,” said Trey Braswell, president of Braswell Family Farms. “This is a special partnership because cancer hits close to home for me and so many of the folks in our BFF family.”

The 2022 Victory Ride will begin and end at NC State University’s Centennial Campus and will offer 10-, 30-, 60- and 100-mile distances on greenways and roads, as well as on-site spin classes to accommodate cyclists at any level. Additionally, riders can take part in MyVictory Month, a virtual experience preceding the event giving participants the flexibility to choose how and when they ride while joining cycling and non-cycling competitions leading up to May 21.

All event-day riders are asked to fundraise a minimum of $250 with 100% of rider-raised funds supporting Duke Cancer Institute, UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as breakthrough cancer research nationwide.
