Country Bird calls for effective law enforcement
If the South African poultry company is to continue its operation in North West province, Country Bird has called for recent community protests to be brought under control. Among the other challenges currently faced by the country’s industry are electricity and water outages, and high feed costs.
Despite recent challenges to its operations in the North West province, Country Bird Holdings has confirmed its commitment to retaining its facility in the area.
Previously, production at the firm’s plant in Mahikeng has been disrupted by power and water outages, as well as community protests, reports Independent Online (IOL).
