Nova Scotia poultry plant lays off workers

Over 100 employees lose jobs after financial losses at plant

Reports say a poultry plant in New Minas, Nova Scotia, owned by ACA co-operative is laying off over 100 employees.

The company says the plant lost $6 million last year, which led to the round of layoffs. The plant processes birds under the Eden Valley name.
