American Soybean Association announces 2010 officers

Rob Joslin elected president

The board of directors of the American Soybean Association, the advocacy group for U.S. soybean farmers, has elected its executive committee for 2010:

  • President—Rob Joslin, Sidney, Ohio
  • Chairman—Johnny Dodson, Halls, Tenn.
  • First vice president—Alan Kemper, Lafayette, Ind.
  • Secretary—Ron Kindred, Atlanta, Ill.
  • Treasurer—Joe Steiner, Mason, Ohio
  • Vice president—Randy Mann, Auburn, Ky.
  • Vice president—Ray Gaesser, Corning, Iowa
  • Vice president— Steve Wellman, Syracuse, Neb.
  • Vice president—Danny Murphy, Canton, Miss.

“One of my top organizational goals is to develop new recruiting methods that lead to increased membership in the ASA,” Joslin said.

The board also welcomed four new members: James Andrew of Iowa, Dan Feige of South Dakota, Richard Wilkins of Delaware and Bruce Hill of Virginia.
