The UK-based pig-breeding company JSR Genetics Ltd. plans to export 400 breeding pigs to Ukraine in December and January. The pigs are destined for Plemzavod LLC, one of Ukraine’s largest pig producers, and are part of a larger agreement that included 250 breeding stock sent earlier this year.
In November, JSR Genetics supplied 100 breeding pigs to another leading Ukrainian producer, Evroresurs LLC.
JSR Genetics first exported stock to the Ukraine in 2006 to supply Vira-1 Ltd. with more than 1,400 animals.
