Nature Pure announced on February 10th, 2022 that Sandra Lausecker has been named as the egg company’s new president and CEO. Lausecker is the second generation to run the family-owned and operated farm, and she will succeed her father, Kurt, who is retiring from the business after a 44-year career.

For nearly a decade, Sandra Lausecker has served as vice president of Nature Pure. In this role, she was responsible for guiding day-to-day sales, directing marketing and advocacy outreach efforts; building and maintaining customer relationships; and establishing and managing all animal welfare, food safety and environmental stewardship programs. Prior to Nature Pure, Sandra served in international roles leveraging her educational foundation of international business and market development on a global platform.
Lausecker, along with her brother and business partner, Daniel Lausecker, are managing members of Ohio Natural Eggs, a USDA Certified Organic cage-free and free-range farm in Ohio. Sandra and her brother are also the founders of Outward Farms, an innovative retail brand for the specialty egg market. Outward has a well-defined vision and a commitment to robust sustainability practices.
Lausecker is a recognized leader in the egg industry and advocate for egg farmers nationwide. She currently serves as a director of the United Egg Producers (UEP) and the American Egg Board. Additionally, she serves as the president of the Ohio Poultry Association and leads UEP’s Organic Subcommittee.
