Aviagen Kft, the Hungarian arm of the global poultry breeding company Aviagen, has completed its second series of seminars in Hungary. The presentations to two Hungarian customers, Hungerit and Babolna Broiler, covered topics such as genetic trends, broiler nutrition, biosecurity, broiler feed economics and salmonella legislation.

Peter Papocsi, Aviagen Kft sales manager, said the Hungarian poultry industry is showing signs of stability and growth is now possible. “The recent development in cereal prices, which have dropped significantly both locally and globally, shall give a boost to the broiler industry,” he said.
