Ingham's: New leadership for future growth

Ingham's announced the appointment for two executive positions it earlier announced would become vacant.

Poultry producer Inghams Group Limited announced appointments to serve as the chief executive, New Zealand, and chief operations officer.

In December 2021, Inghams announced that two executive leaders would be stepping down, chief executive, New Zealand, Jonathan Gray, and chief operations officer, Tim Singleton. 

In a press release on February 25, the company announced the appointments that will be taking over these positions. 

The chief operations officer, Australia will be Anne-Marie Mooney, formerly the chief agribusiness officer in which, “she was responsible for leading the company’s sustainability and animal welfare programs, and its operations across nutrition, commodity procurement, feed milling and Australian farming,” according to the release. Her appointment will be effective on March 21, 2022. 

Her position as chief agribusiness officer will be filled by Art Lankford, and his appointment will be effective on March 7, 2022. 

Chief executive, New Zealand, will be filled by Ed Alexander, and his appointment will be effective July 1, 2022.

The deep knowledge and expertise that Anne-Marie, Art and Ed bring to their new roles will provide a firm foundation for our continued success,” said Ingham’s Chief Executive Officer Andrew Reeves.

Ingham’s is the largest integrated poultry producer in Australia and New Zealand with its three main products being chicken, turkey and plant protein. The company is also dedicated to sustainability as it believes that, “sustainability is about doing good for our people, our community, our environment and our business, so we can continue to meet our customers’ needs today without affecting the ability of future generations to meet theirs,” according to its website. Ingham’s adheres to multiple environmental programs like pollution incident response management, noise monitoring and water stewardship.
