House of Raeford raises money for military connected children

House of Raeford raises money for children's charity.

When House of Raeford Farms FLOCK, the non-profit arm of House of Raeford Farms, launched a challenge in April to raise funds for Camp Corral, it never dreamed the campaign would be so successful. Employees, business associates and other friends of the company came through with monetary gifts totaling $27,936. FLOCK agreed to match the donations up to $10,000 bringing the total contribution to $37,936.

“Our relationship with Camp Corral began in 2020 and has developed into an extremely meaningful partnership,” said Dave Witter, a member of FLOCK’s board of directors and organizer of the campaign. “Camp Corral focuses on healing the hurting children of our wounded, ill, and fallen military heroes, empowering them to live their best lives possible.  This connects so well with FLOCK’s mission of youth development.”

Thanks to Camp Corral’s incredible supporters and the generous donation match from FLOCK, this nonprofit organization doubled its spring campaign totals from last year.

“We are deeply grateful to House of Raeford Farms FLOCK,” shared Phil Kowalczyk, CEO of Camp Corral. “With your generous support to Camp Corral, we help transform the lives of military children through the exciting and nurturing experiences that happen naturally at camp. In addition, we also know they receive support through a connection with other kids and counselors who understand the service that comes with being part of a military family. “

Summer Camp 2022 comprises 17 sites across the country where these special children experience new friendships, thrilling adventures and the chance just to be kids. Thanks to all those who helped FLOCK help these youth.
