Canada recalls ham and chicken products

Listeria implicated

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a national recall of certain ham and processed chicken products sold under the Lafleur, Olymel and Royal labels, a Roma brand pepperoni product and Siena mild cacciatore salami because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The products are not known to have caused any illness, according to an article in Canada’s National Post newspaper.
