The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) is a prime opportunity for agrifood companies to showcase and launch new products. Here’s a look at just some of the products being showcased at this year's show.

Birko Elite 360

The Elite 360 harnesses electrostatic technology in an all-new way to apply antimicrobials to meat and poultry products. It operates by spraying an electrostatically charged antimicrobial solution onto a product as it rotates, exposing all surfaces of the product to ensure full coverage. This process helps achieve up to 100% transfer efficiency while reducing overspray and uneven application of chemicals.

Bio-Cide International PRO-OXINE AH

PRO-OXINE AH, is a broad-spectrum, stabilized chlorine dioxide antimicrobial that is proven to control slime build up, reduce pathogen exposure through drinking water and disinfect equipment and premises, resulting in healthier, more efficient animals. It is proven effective against all major pathogens of concern, including E. Coli O157:H7, Salmonella,  Listeria, Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas, among others.

JLS Automation Talon

The Talon hygienically and gently loads protein products into various primary packaging formats with speed, accuracy and proper product orientation. To address common protein sorting issues such as improper cut categorization, Smart Vision Works’ SiftAI technology can be integrated upstream of the JLS system to identify appropriate cuts of protein via machine learning algorithms. With the required number of robots, a complete solution allows only acceptable cuts to be selected for loading.

DPI GLOBAL Micro-Shield

Micro-Shield combines decades of saponin research by DPI Global with additional proprietary phytogenic ingredients to address the challenges of modern poultry production. DPI’s research supports improved GI tract integrity, weight gain and feed efficiency when using saponin-based technologies in poultry rations. The ingredients in Micro-Shield are built on the foundation of DPI’s saponin-based technology, while incorporating the beneficial attributes of polyphenols. This unique combination of phytogenic compounds enhances the antioxidant status of the animal, which allows the animal to meet the challenges of oxidative stress head-on. Oxidative stress can result from disease challenges, heat and production stress, and can lead to chronic inflammation.
