Hybrid Turkeys, a division of Hendrix Genetics, has acquired three grandparent turkey breeder farms in France, along with two additional properties that can be used for future expansion. Eggs produced in the newly acquired farms will be shipped to Hybrid’s European parent stock hatchery, acquired in 2009.
As a result of the new acquisitions, Hybrid Turkeys now has grandparent production farms in Europe, the United States, Canada and Israel. Its headquarters are in Ontario, Canada.
