One of the largest poultry trade shows and conventions in the U.S., PEAK, will take place this April in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has opened registration for attendees as well as for sponsors and exhibitors.

The event will provide many opportunities for members of the poultry industry to network with colleagues, view over 200 exhibits on the trade show floor and learn about the latest research.

Attendees will be able to sit in on Poultry TED Talks like "Why Incineration," "Health Effects of Feeding a Dried Egg Product in Layers" and "Bed Bugs: A Growing Concern in the Poultry Industry."

On its second year, the pullet and layer, broiler, and turkey education tracks will be available for three days instead of four with two new additions: "Business and Leadership Development" and "Feed Systems and Manufacturing."

There will be multiple casual networking events for attendees like Mimosas on the Show Floor, the annual Turkey Taste-Off and PEAK Unhatched, which will have food, an open bar and live music.

PEAK is also partnering with the North Central Avian Disease Conference (NCADC) which will be held April 10-11 as well as with the Organic Egg Farmers of America which will hold its annual symposium April 11. The NCADC is a separate event that will require separate registration

The online event registration deadline is April 9 and costs $50 for farmers, processors and members of a government agency, organization or university or $300 for suppliers. Attendees can also book a nearby, discounted hotel room through PEAK’s website by March 10.

The convention is sponsored by companies like Ceva, Zoetis and Aviagen
