The Poultry Tech Summit has launched its call for Innovation and Technology presentations. Interested individuals and organization can make submissions here.
The event presents groundbreaking innovation and insightful presentations with deep dialogue on new prospective solutions and next-generation technologies.
Poultry Tech Summit is the only one of its kind being offered to connect researchers and entrepreneurs with poultry sector technology experts, financiers, venture capitalists and producers looking for new projects and investments to fund.
Innovation Presentations – These are open to inventors, researchers, entrepreneurs and established technology companies that have a new technology application that could benefit some aspect of the poultry supply chain that is in need of investors or industry partners to further develop, test or field trial the innovation. Innovation presentations should focus on how the technology works and what the ask from the innovators is, whether that be additional funding, someone to license the idea or poultry industry partners to test it. Innovation presentations are not appropriate for products that are in the marketplace for well established companies. Innovation presentations should focus on technology applications that are new to the poultry industry.
Technology Presentations – These are open to inventors, researchers, entrepreneurs and established technology companies that can discuss how a new technology application could provide a significant benefit to some aspect of the poultry supply chain. Technology presentations cannot be focused on an existing product and should be non-commercial. As an example, a presentation on a new method for making vaccines for poultry might be an acceptable technology presentation submission but it should be focused on the science and not a specific brand or product.
All submissions are reviewed by the PTS judging committee.
Submissions are rated on the following criteria:
- Does the science appear sound?
- Is the technology/innovation solving a significant industry challenge or presenting a unique opportunity for some aspect of the poultry supply chain?
- Do the submitters appear to have the expertise to advance the innovation further?
- Does there appear to be sufficient return on investment for the technology/innovation to be adapted by the poultry industry?
- Does the submission offer something unique about how the innovation or how the technology would be applied?
