Exports temporarily halted

Foot-and-mouth-disease has broken out in South Korea, leading to the culling of 2,981 meat and dairy cattle, hogs and deer from 30 farms, according to The Korea Herald. The outbreak was first confirmed on Jan. 7 about 25 miles north of Seoul.
