Jordan’s Union for Agricultural Development and Slaughtering has chosen Belgian incubation specialist Petersime as its equipment partner for a new hatchery project in Amman, Jordan. The new hatchery will be outfitted with Petersime’s AirStreamer technology and will have a capacity of 24 million broiler eggs a year.
The Jordanian company currently produces around 15% of Jordan’s poultry under the brands Al Tahouna and Al Etihad.
AirStreamer is part of Petersime’s Embryo-Response Incubation technology, which measures the embryo’s physiologic parameters and adjusts the incubation environment accordingly for each batch of eggs. Petersime says this process results in better post-hatch performance.
