OIE chief to deliver International Poultry Council keynote address

Meeting scheduled for April 14-16 in Paris

Bernard Vallat, director general of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), will give the keynote address at the upcoming meeting of the International Poultry Council, which takes place April 14-16, 2010, in Paris.

Also scheduled to speak at the meeting are Klaus Schumacher, chief economist of Toepfer International of Germany, who will discuss genetically modified organisms, and Jorgen Schlundt, director of the World Health Organization’s food safety and zoonoses program.
