Representatives from Libya’s largest privately held poultry company recently visited Aviagen facilities in Scotland to discuss their plans for expansion. Golden Poultry is a customer of Aviagen’s Ross breeding line.

Golden Poultry’s president, Mustafa Eteer, and general manager, Ahmed Omar Baheg, told Aviagen that they hope to make their company the leading poultry provider in Libya within two years.

John Maguire, Ross sales manager, said, “We were delighted to welcome Golden Poultry to the UK for the first time. This was a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss how we can continue working together. It has also allowed us to develop together our joint strategy for Golden Poultry’s future market expansion plans. This spirit of partnership is something we identify with very strongly and want to continue to develop.”
