Norm Winkel, of director of key accounts at packaging business Multivac and a 33-year veteran of the company, has announced his retirement, effective May 15, 2010. His replacement will be Matt Malott, who has worked for Multivac since 1988 and is currently a key account manager.
Winkel began his work with Multivac in the company’s parts department and has held various leadership positions, including national sales manager, director of sales and marketing and general manager of the food division.
"Throughout his very impressive career, Norm Winkel has built a reputation for winning through the success of our customers," said Erik Kuhlmann, Multivac's president and chief executive officer. "That philosophy has been integral to the countless relationships he has cultivated in the industry, as well as in the mentoring of his team inside Multivac, which includes his successor."
