Prime Equipment Group Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, has entered into an agreement to purchase Diversified Machine Products of Gainesville, Ga. The closing date for the purchase agreement is set for June 1, 2010.
Diversified Machine Products will continue with its daily business and manufacturing activities under current management at its Georgia facility, according to an announcement from the companies.
The move will strengthen Prime Equipment Group’s “overall position as a leading provider of equipment, parts and services to the chicken and turkey processing industries,” said Mike Gasbarro, Prime’s president.
