Novus International plants tree on Earth Day

Company also hosted scholarship recipients for 2nd Annual Science Day.

Novus International celebrated the 40th anniversary of Earth Day by planting a Swamp White Oak tree at its headquarters in St. Charles, Mo., and hosted scholarship recipients from the Missouri Colleges Fund (MCF) for the 2nd Annual Science Day.

For the second year, scholarship recipients of Novus supported by the MCF program enjoyed an interactive day, learning about careers in science. The day included learning about science and several aspects of the US Green Building Council’s LEED Platinum certification of Novus’ headquarters.

“The agriculture industry plays a unique role in the global effort to protect and preserve the environment,” stated Dr. Joyce Cacho, Chief Sustainability Officer, Novus International. “Novus customers and farmers, around the world have adopted new practices and technologies that are environmentally friendly and improve the performance of their livestock operations.”
